As a Florida girl, I consider myself incredibly lucky, though growing up there has made adapting to colder weather a bit of a challenge! Returning home always fills me with gratitude, especially as I get to explore the beautiful surroundings by SUP.
Some of my favorite spots are in Sarasota and Bradenton, particularly Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key, and Lido Beach. Many places offer stunning mangroves to explore and the chance to encounter curious manatees.
The sun shines brightly, the sand is a brilliant white, and the water sparkles in shades of blue. I often find myself wondering when I’ll retire and return to this paradise for good. One day, maybe, however, it will always be home.
